Best-Ever Chocolate Chip Banana Bread!

This is a recipe from a close friend and it’s an old family favorite! The kids love them as muffins, but the original recipe calls for a loaf pan. Whether you are making it as a loaf or muffins, be warned, they won’t last long!

INGREDIENTS

• ½ c butter (1 stick)
• ¾ sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 ½ c flour
• 1 t baking soda
• 3 med bananas mashed
• 3 T sour cream
• ½ c nuts (opt)
• 1 c chocolate chips (opt) 

DIRECTIONS

• Add baking soda to sour cream and set aside
• Cream butter and sugar until light & fluffy
• Add eggs & beat well.
• Add dry ingredients, mashed bananas and sour cream
• Fold in nuts and/or chocolate chips (opt)

Pour into well greased 9x5x3” loaf pan or fill 24 cupcake/muffin tins

Bake at 325
• 1 hour for loaf pan
• 22 minutes for cupcakes/muffins
